Shadows
Cast upon the world, shadows diffuse and conceal. The offer shelter to the hurt and concealment to pain. Shadows are created by light, and here those shadows are themselves turned back into the light.
These process pieces are multi stage creations, going from a design, to a physical object, light cast upon that object, and the shadows of that object captured again. Layered or solo they reflect the impermanent nature of light and emotion.
